HISTORY Since
it's founding in 1833, The
Church of the Epiphany has been a home for educational programs for children,
and in 2004 a commitment was made to begin a new nursery school. Epiphany Day School,
a private preschool on Manhattan's upper eastside is non-denominational and is designed to accommodate children 2 to 6 years of age from
the eastside community.
MISSION
The nursery school is dedicated to promoting the emotional, social, cognitive and
physical growth of the child. The child-centered preschool environment is safe,
nurturing and a fun-filled place where children can explore their own imaginations and the
world around them.
PHILOSOPHY
The importance of community is
exemplified by the collaborative effort demonstrated among the staff. This
model allows the children and their families to experience community first hand.
